Becton defeats Wallington – Boys basketball recap

Zaim Friday made his first time in the starting lineup count as he scored 26 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Becton past Wallington 70-53 in East Rutherford.

Becton (7-9) got off to a strong start as it led 35-22 at halftime before pulling away in the second half outscoring Wallington 35-31. Following a 36-point performance, Adrian Rozon pitched in 21 points and sunk three threes.

Dariel Gil Polanco led all scorers with 36 points, including five 3-pointers, for Wallington (4-12). Polanco also went 7-8 from the free-throw line.
