Baylock leads Scotch Plains-Fanwood over Roselle Catholic – Girls basketball recap (PHOTOS)

Amanda Baylock scored a career-high 33 points, including 22 in the first half, to lead Scotch Plains-Fanwood to a 61-56 victory over Roselle Catholic.

Alicia Murphy added 16 points for Scotch Plains-Fanwood (11-5), who jumped out to a 21-10 lead In the first quarter. By the time intermission rolled around, Scotch Plains held a 37-23 lead over Roselle Catholic.

Jasmin McKay would score 19 of her 24 points to help Roselle Catholic (6-9) rally in the second half, cutting the lead back to single-digits by the start of the fourth quarter. However, Baylock would score nine points in the fourth quarter to help Scotch Plains-Fanwood hang onto its lead.
