Angus Taylor’s ‘monumental gaffe’ in Question Time ‘bemuses’ colleagues

Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor’s “monumental gaffe” in Question Time, confusing annual inflation figures with monthly figures, has “really bemused” his colleagues, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

“I’ve got a shadow cabinet leak, and that is that Angus Taylor yesterday was castigating shadow cabinet ministers on how they basically hadn’t done their jobs by finding savings in their portfolios,” Mr Clennell said.

“The irony then that Angus Taylor basically having a go at the entire shadow cabinet for not doing their jobs, goes into the House and doesn’t do his.”
